Pullman Flashing

Last Saturday (April 5th) my brother and I went to watch 'Tangmere' on the Folkestone Harbour branch. We watched her off from Folkestone Harbour station and then walked back to the car parked in Tram Road. We had heard a rumour that another run past was possible and as we got to the car the train ran back down the bank past us, so we sat down and waited for the return trip.

We were sitting by the front door of a Victorian house that was under renovation. You know the sort of building - terrace block, four stories including a cellar, with ten or so stone steps leading up to the front door. The young(ish) lady next door arrived home and put her head over the dividing wall and asked what all these people were here for (most of them being on Radnor Bridge, about 100 yards above us.) I told her that a steam train was at the Harbour and that it would be coming back soon. At this point she became quite animated and said "Is it the Pullman? When that goes by I always go up to my bedroom and flash my boobs at the passengers!" I told her that there wouldn't be many more chances as the branch was closing and she seemed quite disappointed.

I suppose I must be a bit sad as I have no idea whether she flashed her boobs at the train, I was too busy watching 'Tangmere'.

 

What a missed photo opportunity! Alas, no picture on this topic captioned "The last time that this young lady flashed her boobs at a train on the Folkestone Harbour branch". However, I gather that you had another opportunity today...............

 

And I thought all those people up the tram road were waiting for a train..................
