The Trust was formed in December 2014 and over the last three years, it has built up a significant fleet of Rail Trolleys, with examples from Wickham, Permaquip, Geismar, Sylvester & Bance.

The Trust plans to set up its first permanent base in the yard / sidings of Chasewater Heath Station, on the Chasewater Railway.

To find out more about the Trust and to keep up to date with their progress, you can follow, their website - http://www.railtrolleytrust.co.uk/

They also have a Facebook Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/601811603244207/

As the majority of the fleet were built by D Wickham & Co. Ltd, Ware, Hertfordshire, the Trust is also purchasing and restoring other equipment / machinery built by the Company, including Pumps, Cranes & Steam Cleaners.

The also have close links with The Velocipede Group and hope to run joint events with them in the future, showing the development from man-powered to motor / engine powered vehicles.

Their website can be found here - http://www.velocipedes.co.uk/

We also jointly run a Flickr Group showing all types of man-powered railway vehicles - https://www.flickr.com/groups/3811100@N22/
