    See this is March.
I don't fully understand the rules, but is there a chance of a last 15Guineas rerun from Keighley in March,or can the certificate be extended to August?
    Thanks

last main line trip is the working to York on the third of March .

then to the KWVR for the gala and certificate I think expires shortly after that. Plan is back to Loughborough and possible extension for GCR running

I have a photo charter in March at Keighley . Details here

Great Central are holding a 50th anniversary gala in August, gent I spoke with at Winter gala were hopeful of an extension to allow it to take part, the recent repairs should stand it in good stead. Mainline ticket will expire in March though whatever happens. What happens after is down to talks with NRM. Sir Lamiel is in the same position, but 5305 LA have a long and good relationship with NRM so let's be positive!

Hi Sidmouth/Martin, not quite sure your reply adds to the conversation - can you be a little more forthcoming please?

    Thanks

Seemed straightforward to me: "by all accounts it didn't ...... fail". Whether that's true or not (and I don't know) I think the message was clear enough.

It didn't fail. Its not really for me to say what did happen and there is nothing especially untoward before the tongues start wagging

I'm surprised a double header with Britannia hasn't happened yet.

Mainline ticket runs for 7 years, boiler ticket is renewable every year , hense why engines have to have a boiler inspector examine them every year, but inspectors prefer boilers to be stripped at 10 year mark, does Cromwells boiler ticket expire at the same time as its mainline ticket, if she has had a recent retube, very often engines can get an extension on their mainline certificate up to the ten year mark, but then have to be overhauled before a new mainline ticket can be sought .

I think Martin's comment says all that needs to be said really.

Indeed, the whole episode was a little speculative hence the quoatation marks.... so still a few mainline outings to go and then a trip to the KWVR available.
