LE Movements, ECS and Test Runs 2018

This path is a VSTP ( Control arrangements) for WCRC and the STP path incorrectly coded to DB Cargo has been cancelled. From what I can remember after 10 years away from train planning it isn't possible to change the cost centre between operators.

I saw yesterday's movement at Watford Junction just after 7pm yesterday. Loco and support coach.
While I was waiting several security announcements were made to be aware of unattended luggage and that British Transport Police should be contacted if anything strange or unusual was seen. Should I have taken any action?

Probably Tornado's move as it's not a WCRC movement? Not sure if the B1 would be towed by DB though?

Yes, just under the "Class B1" on the buffer beams.
It all depends in DB Cargo have accepted 1264 for their operation.

Thanks Neil, seems in theory it's possible it's just a case of DB having the paperwork for it.

 

From what I remember (and life is too short to remember all the group standards) vacuum brake locos are meant to have air through pipes and brake valves to facilitate movement in an emergency. That then connects with the discussion of having standby locos....

That rings a bell from an RAIB report a while back which made mention of unbraked vehicles in a train being proscribed ie through piped only, such that the brakes cannot be applied in transit even though vehicles either side may be fully fitted.
