My footage of 60163 Tornado, 6023 King Edward II and LNER B12 8572 in action mostly up Eardington Bank. Also included the double header of 1450+1501 in the snow. Enjoy.

My video from the Friday mainly around the Eardington area with some good performances.

Went back on Saturday and joined the crowds for a ride. Another excellent gala at the Valley.

My footage from yesterday. A very challenging day for filming indeed, and the results are far from perfect. But, I hope you're able to get some enjoyment out of it :)

Well done to the volunteers of the SVR for putting on this spectacle. It was indeed, as many have already said, a challenging day. I was wearing my full thermal gear but still needed to keep moving to avoid hypothermia! My iPhone app tells me I walked 11.5miles - that was all based around Bewdley.
My photo collection is now uploaded.

I hope you enjoy taking a look.

Hello Clive, some lovely images there, thanks for posting. I only managed an hour or so at Bewdley (had originally planned for a full day traveling and photting however family illness meant a change of plans!) and I noted that my usual photo spot on P2/P3 south end at Bewdley was a bit 'compromised' when Tornado or the 'King' arrived and waited to cross with the northbound train as the tenders were well off the platform!
However, I do wish I could have stayed longer and thanks so much to everyone in making the Gala such a great weekend and hope the revenue taken covered the cost of loco hire and transport.
As an armchair member and shareholder thanks to all of the volunteers for giving us all such enjoyment. Andy

Not had much time to edit my photos from Friday, but a big thank you to everyone involved at the SVR for making this gala happen. Very enjoyable day on Friday...

Just one from me for now, 8572 climbing away from Sterns at Hay Bridge on Friday afternoon in a patch of glorious sunlight. By the time I'd gone back down to Bewdley, the cloud had come over and the rain had started!

Not being one of the photoaratti I didn't realise some railways did such a thing. How unfriendly

Just like to say well done to all those who put on a such a great show this weekend, really enjoyable really couldn't fault it. Would have made an interesting fly on the wall documentary in the run up to this weekend! Thankyou and well done to all of those who made it all possible.

Finally back in Sheffield after crosscountry delays, but had a great day despite the cold. The fires in the waiting rooms were much appreciated! Will post some more pics when I get round to it, bed first!

My shots from the Saturday and Sunday. Big well done to the gala organisers and the volunteers on the line for such a good event in the conditions that were experienced! Sunday was brilliant, best day over the weekend - the snow made for some amazing shots!

I was owner's rep on Bellerophon on Friday and we have no idea what happened other than we suddenly lost the vacuum both times. We had no issues at any other time over the weekend and can only put it down to someone messing around on the train as there was absolutely nothing wrong with the loco or the vac on the coaches as far as we could see. Despite being brought to a stand the second time 100 yards from the tunnel on a 1 in 100 she lifted the train away with no problem and we were still right time at Kidderminster! All the Bewdley SVR staff were surprised by how competently she handled the three GWR Toplights on Friday and Saturday and the crews who manned her thoroughly enjoyed their turns, despite risking frostbite and some having declined the bigger locos in preference for a turn on her. She's certainly won some more fans and will be staying at the SVR until early May with at least three more days in action.

Following a hiatus at the Photography Show in the NEC yesterday, I have now processed the images that I took on Saturday and the results can be viewed at: - http://mickrogers.zenfolio.com/p432763785

Thanks for solving the puzzle Nigel.

All of us visitors owe a huge debt of gratitude to the owners and reps of the locos, as well as the SVR volunteers for treating us to a superb gala.
