Enjoyed a second visit too minehead this morning for the peter rabbit event kids enjoyed it, despite the pouring rain. Lovely station and helpful station staff and toasty turntable cafe . Very welcoming lady in shop on thursday morning. Will defo aim to come back minus the kids for a gala. Got decent shots of foxcote resting on shed.

 

It was probably so far off the beaten track that no-one had realised it was still there, especially after the call up of the chap from the GWR publicity section who put it up in early 1939.

 

Not nit picking just commenting.

Mission accomplished at Didcot

Perfect day (hmmm) in the rain to take letter rubbings to complete the set for the pattern maker to get to work on replacement Bristol and Exeter signs for the WSR.

Always something interesting to see at Didcot.

Thanks to the folk there for being so helpful / accommodating.
