RTT now showing 125L at Winsford, but at least its moving!

 

Watched it arrive at Crewe on Railcams 128 down. Now in P12 doing loco change.

 

No doubt the 37 will be raring to go !

 

Following the signalling delays - will GBXI stick to the booked route via Sugarloaf or go direct to Cardiff via Hereford?

 

I don't think it can go via Hereford, otherwise the stock will be facing the wrong way for tomorrow's run. I know there are two triangles nearby but i have no idea how easy it is to get a path past minute !

 

Obviously not that raring as already lost a further 10 minutes and its not even at Shrewsbury yet?

 

Following a stopper ! Hopefully it's reached line speed by Dorringtom, but then you've got the stiff climb to Church Stretton, so I'm expecting fireworks from the rear !

 

Enjoyed the sequence. Thought it was an excellent climb with 11+Class 37; then the noise of the Class 37 assisting intruded. Looked at another clip at a different location on Youtube and the 37 was working then too. Surprised at that.

 

Must have been. Dorrington to Marsh Brook LX in 9 minutes!!!

 

I hear that the train is sticking to planned route, via Sugarloaf. Currently taking water at Craven Arms, 2h 15 late

 

Schedule was only 13 minutes?

 

Thank you , I think with the changeover at Carnforth to 35018 perhaps the 37 was helping to make up time which it did till the signal problems put paid to that

 

Yes, plenty from the rear unfortunately, but not a bad show from upfront. Draincock blowing too.

 

Hit nail on head 'Show from up front...'. Glad I resisted the temptation to do today.

 

She seemed to be going well through Lancaster

 

And a risky one, there is a particularly unpleasant farmer at that location

 

Regarding tomorrows leg, Cardiff to Swanage.. The 37 will come off at Bristol East depot during the stop there for water. So unassisted up Brewham,which is nice

Any update from the train? Last reported an hour ago and still hasn’t passed us near Pantyffynnon...
