    This event is now rapidly approaching. A special guest will be a W & M 4-wheel diesel railbus, currently based at Ribble Steam Railway and originally preserved by the North Norfolk Railway.

    LOTS HAPPENING AT THE RAILWAY THE NEXT TWO WEEKENDS!

    Plenty to see and do and, for our traders, more visitors to our town.

    Next weekend is our Multiple Memories weekend with all our railcars in operation and the visiting Waggon und Maschinenbau railbus of the type which ran between Buxton and Millers Dale in the 1960s.

    The railbus will be arriving by road this Wednesday (16th May). Sadly, it will be leaving us on Wednesday 23rd.

    THEN... STEAM FOR THE SUMMER!

    On Monday 21st, the 0-6-0 'Jinty' steam engine arrives for its summer visit and will be with us until September. The first passenger train it will haul is on Saturday 26th, so visitors to our Carnival and Welldressings can arrive in style!
