On the outbound the steam section is only Taunton to Kingswear so no water stop required. Looking at the timings for the return there are stops at Taunton, Frome and Milton Junction near Didcot. Not sure whether the Frome stop is for water or just a pathing stop.

Three clips of today’s action , Whiteball this morning with plenty of shovage from the class 37 making a hell of a racket and two clips of this evenings climb back up to Whiteball with a lot of noise from 45212 but just as much noise again coming from the back .

 

Only managed to catch up with the tour at the end of the day as it rounded the curve at Langstone Rock.

 

Energetic climb of Dauntsey, this evening, 37 doing nothing. We could hear the 5 all the way up to Bassett. Nothing much doing with the light, but a nice record video. Worth popping out for from home, anyhow.

 

Somewhat more fortunate than others here!:
Seen climbing unassisted through Bruton, rolling towards Trowbridge in the evening sun and climbing away from Melksham at 1 in 104 again unassisted.

 

I had a great day chasing the train with brilliant driving from 92220 Evening Star with me doing a little navigating. We managed to get 6 shots during the day and just missed another by a few minutes, so well pleased with that. Apart from one shot 37668 was powering hard but 45212 was sounding amazing all day.
