    The Brookside Minature Railway is a 7 1/4" line running around Brookside Garden Centre in Poynton, Cheshire. It is 1/2 mile in length.

    Unfortunately after 34 years on site the current operator of the railway has been given notice to quit by the owners of the garden centre.

    0-4-2 loco ‘Amy Louise’ built 2003 by Exmoor Steam railway has already left the railway, with 0-4-2 loco ‘Jeremy’ built 2013 by Exmoor Steam railway leaving tomorrow (15 June 2018).

    Is there any news of (a) where the locomotives will be transferred to (b) whether the railway operation will transfer or be closed completely and (c) what will be the fate of the railway artefacts displayed on site ?

    0-4-2 loco ‘Jeremy’ built 2013 by Exmoor Steam railway left the railway on Thursday 05/07/2018 bound for Barnards Minature Railway, Dartford.
