D1935 ‘Roger Hosking MA 1925 - 2013’ pilots 34052 ‘Lord Dowding’ pass just south of Fenny Compton on a positioning move from Crewe HS to Bristol St Philips Marsh ahead of the English Rivera Express these coming weeks. Everything about the LSL set is immaculate!

Some photographers like to record the information with their shot for posterity, imagine in say 50 years when enthusiasts are discussing the golden age of steam charters, they will be pleased that someone bothered to note that information.

Not only that Ralph, I get a lot of pleasure from lineside photography and its down to the lads on the footplate grafting away doing their thing, seems a poor job if you cannot mention their names in your posts if that info is to hand

With the interest in 45231 still being at Southall, had a quick look at RTT this morning.
No sign of anything re 45231 but spotted this http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U54992/2018/07/04/advanced looks like the return of 46100 from Keighley, there is a turning move to Shipley. Looks to be solo but in the current weather probably best to keep an open mind.
