Well you say that, but if you start reading at the top of page 1 and fast forward to now, a lot of that WIBN has indeed born fruit!

    Achievements include (but not exclusive)
    • Completion of the third WL&LR coach.
    • A replica porthole bug box on the FR, No.12 finished in 2012.
    • Full rebuilds of 2 of the relatively extant L&B coaches and 2 largely new build replica's with a 5th well on it's way! Full rake complete I'd say with the promise of more.
    • Corris replica's. No.22 finished in 2015, No.23 and 24 currently in build.
    • WL&LR JLL Peate & Sons Coal and Lime wagon completed in 2017.
    • WHR Ashbury No.21 replica almost complete.
I'd therefore argue that we're well past the WIBN phase! :D

Then of course there's all the repatriated loco's from all round the world that we could get started on, courtesy of Statfold Barn (predominately Graham Lee) and friends that could be mentioned! Think the WIBN brigade have been spoilt!

Oh, I quite agree! It was just a bit of gentle leg-pulling at Mr Hitch’s expense - a thread that I don’t think he’d start nowadays :)

No I do not currently volunteer
    I must've just imagined the sentry-box van! :D

That W&L coal wagon really is something different .... that livery looks great.
