…..and today one of the 33s seems to be covering the Minehead diagram. Is 6046 expected back in service soon?

Word on the street is that there are injector issues to solve before it can see use.

Ahh. If it refuses to run last Stogumber, perhaps all it needs is a supply of Roddas Cream.

Can't understand all this twaddle about antiques. All I watched was a huge group of twitchers undertaking their hobby and doing a spot the robin competition, One guy reported seeing 7 and he was not a part of Ops

Is this a competition to see who can spot Robin the most, because if so I am not doing very well having only spotted her four times. I have heard a rumour that if you cant spot her more than five times, a visit to specsavers is the punishment.

Often called posing. Quite common on heritage lines it seems, so the WSR is not unique in this. :D

My sincere apologies Robin. My excuse is that at 89 years old you can easily make mistakes.
Its a very long time since we have met as its twenty six years ago since I retired from the WSR and although I do not see the WSR very much nowadays, I look up this site and Stephen Edges every day to see whats happening on the WSR.
    Regards
    Doug

No offence taken, Doug, I still get it wrong myself on occasion. You could just edit the original post?

Is a Black 5 coming down to the WSR this week for possible use on the Royal Duchy on Sunday?

Yes, well, young man does work at Ashford. And has been known to "flail" on diesel hauled specials I believe.
