Trains can still appear on TRUST that aren't running without any mention of whether or not they have been cancelled. No timing reports are given so often one assumes that they have been cancelled.

Something was in steam at Carnforth around lunchtime today. I couldn't see what it was though, too much rolling stock in the way. However, 5972 was visible later in the day, minus safety valve cover.

As of 08:30 5z47 has not been consisted in TRUST, so perhaps a run is looking more doubtful

... and here's another taken at Langho; the train made a briefer stop at Blackburn than timetabled, no stop at Cherry Tree and, on the basis that it was "Right Away" to Carnforth, gave up chasing and rested happy with what I had taken

BUT Congrats to the WCRC - and many thanks for restoring a true LMS icon back where it belongs - on the Main Line

I know how you feel Ralph. Great to see the loco out and hope it's passed the test -- but shame about all the cloak and dagger stuff.
Anyway, here's looking forward to summer runs over the S&C [-o<

Does the fact that it has 46115 on the cabside and smokebox tell us anything??
