Almost the same thing happened with the Fellsman on 26 June, the 2 37s slowed to 2 mph about a quarter of a mile north of KS station, then away again. Wonder if there is a signalling problem?

 

Possibly as from my position I couldn’t see the peg but obviously the crew could.

Not wet enough yet I guess, (as suspected), an update on the rolling assessment and daily phone conferences with affected operators, underpinned by a fire-risk protocol, which we established jointly some years ago, would be appreciated.......

If by Grotsman you mean the Icon that is Flying Scotsman it usually runs with a diesel on the back regardless
