She was cleaned up at the NVR the other weekend, but has obviously done a fair few miles since then

Moody lighting on that. I was toying with the idea of doing the viaduct shot but had some work to do so opted for the quick dash to Arlesey and back.

 

Fair rate of speed through Doncaster at 1201!

Anyone know what the "The Bon Accord" headboard is about?

 

The Bon Accord was a named train that ran on the Glasgow - Aberdeen route. No.9 must have hauled it many times and I suspect John Cameron may be behind the decision to carry the headboard today.

 

Chiming to leave York at the moment .. I thought last week's run was good, but this is proving even better

Haven't a clue! To be fair, the Up Starter was at Red but I am surprised there was no 'Stand back from the Platform Edge' announcements - the platform ends even have automatic ones!
