    Annual autumn offering looks promising this year...flight and hotel booked :)

    Travel behind steam from Praha hl. n. - Kladno - Lužná u R. and back on both days, with further services
    Lužná u R. - Rakovník and back on the 6th and Lužná u R. - Kolešovice and back on the 7th.

    Loco's expected; 414.096, 354.195, 477.043, 556.0506

    It's always a pleasure to visit the railway museum at Lužná u R too :) Looking forward to both days!

    My planned trip from Salzburg to Kraków passed close to Brno (CZ) on 8th September, with a steam special (see brochure) conveniently taking place on that day.

    It seems, in GB, that we're not the only ones to suffer alternative motive power.​

    It was a great event ! I rode the train on Saturday and went to the Prague suburbs to photograph on Sunday. Super weekend. When the train reversed at Kladno, we had a 4-6-2 tank engine as top and
    tail :)

    A had actually the same thoughts John, the smoke deflector isn`t nice at all. Looks like a oversized shirt button!:D
