    Highlight was a cab ride from GROZNY ( a first??!! ) on a SU
    P36 is running v well indeed with St Petersburg crew throughout-6 sets of men......
    Abkasia soon via Sochi
    Tour is ALL STEAM and today is day6
    Live on board and woke today with P36 workinghatd

    Loco arrangements very..... 65 passengers from Europe USA Australia as well as c30 from UK
    PURE steam generally as the organiser is very keen
    P36 0120 is a wonderful loco.......
    Google for pics Black Sea ,Sochi,Abkhaz,Rostov,Volgograd Moscow- hopefully pure steam !
    Another 7 days !
    The Moscow depot visit had 6 locos in steam
    Grozny-4 locos together
    2 SU. P36. LV........incredible after the recent major issues there

    Monday 8 October- a rail tour reached Abkhazia with 2 L s one oil and one coal!
    Massive reception and enthusiasm from locals! A beautiful sunny day and visits to caves( by underground train) plus folk dancing and Caucasian food
    Tuesday saw 2 P36 4.8.4 0218/0120
    From Krasnodar to Tikhoretsk
    The depot maintains 17 locos in the steam fleet and 6 were in steam!

    Tonight a FD20 2.10.2 is booked with a P36
    It’s thought that P36.0120 will run 2,700+ miles on this tour!
