    Thanks Steam. I am well aware of the extra stress at Galas. There is nothing specific I wanted to see, just as much as I can! I will leave your staff to do their jobs on the days, they're going to be busy enough without doing stuff for me!

    No. 828 is coming down to Bo'ness for that very reason.

    If an oppurtunity ever arises to take No. 419 and the Caley Coaches up to Spey, I imagine it'll be taken but realistically that isn't likely to happen before No. 828's boiler ticket expires in 2020.

    0-4-4 tanks do tend to be pretty engines for example the H class on the Bluebell and our own 02 at Havenstreet. It will be interesting to see the new G5 when it is finished

    They do - likewise the Met no 1, and (best of all IMO) the Midland Johnson ones.
    Lanky 2-4-2T are even better, though!

    You could do a cracking gala with a load of Tank engines. Probably at KWVR, think Coal tank, Taff vale, Calley, H class, Met one.
