Had it stopped at Wallers Ash Loop, there would have been two clips, but as it is I have the one taken perched on top of the very windy Basingstoke North yard car park

 

Nice one. She looks stunning. That sideways on shot certainly shows the paintwork off to good effect.
The support coach looks quite smart too!

 

Having just signalled it through Harmans Cross, it is certainly very smart. Here’s hoping for a successful weekend.

44871 is staying on at Swanage and advertised for a number of their service trains at half term.

I am glad she ran late, due to a prior appointments, I would not have been able to see her at a footcrossing near Mortimer if she had been on time

Drizzly conditions but worth seeing as the driver opened her up (possibly due to the late running)

 

Good show in the mist.

 

A little late, but one of the Duchess passing Corfe on the way into Swanage, and a very poor shot in the dark, next to the buses, just before departure this morning at about 0650.

 

Just seen on railcam that the duchess has gone into crewe heritage centre. Does anyone know why please?

 

Like that first photo very much. Corfe Castle must have been impressive back in the day

 

Lucky shot really as the castle is only normally illuminated for the Christmas period, but seems the National Trust had some event on Thursday evening so they turned the lights on.

Arrived at the ELR more or less on time seen here propelling it's support coach over Green Lane. So she will face south from Rawtenstall at the gala.

 

Has anyone any information about the Light test run by 70000 Britannia shown on UKSteam Loco Movements for tomorrow?
