Mid Hants Railway Autumn Steam Gala: 19th - 21st October 2018.

A great show all round. When the sun shines over the Alps, there's not many other lines that I would rather be at !

 

Personally didn't mind the timetable slippage one iota on Friday as it meant by the end of the day the light was pretty damn special

I do time on various railways more for interest then anything else, and no where as accurately as you, but that run with 925 must have been special. I do Alton start to the colour light distant signal for MFM which I seem to remember is slightly further than Hants Hunt Bridge. My best time to there was 9 minutes 57 secs with Tornado with load 6 back in October 2011.

Lol, glad I’m not the only who seen it.

 

I love the colours in the first photo and the steam effects in the fourth photo.

 

For me the best working over the weekend was 41312 on the shuttle. Every photogenic. Two coaches plus a box van and a milk tank.
