And you Henry. At least the run back on Saturday was in good weather with a bonus shot of the 8F at Cotehill. I posted that on Lensmen

I was up there with you do the leaving Glenfinnan shot but if you look I have exterminated the people in the foreground in Photoshop. The Corpach location may not be there for much longer as a new marina is planned for the site

The two Black 5s returned south on Saturday with an unusually short train but thankfully in good weather conditions , the remainder of the stock went back diesel hauled yesterday. Two locations from me, climbing away from Monessie Gorge just as the sun came over the hills and on the climb to the Horseshoe and County March Summit dwarfed by Ben Dorian with a dusting of snow on the top.

Thanks, the rest of the week was typical Highland weather but it came right on the last day. There is normally only two types of weather up there good or bad with not a lot in between

Stunning shots and that third one really puts the works of man vs nature in context

Haha, quite! Tuesday was particularly grim, except for the fish and chips in Mallaig.
