Does anybody know who owns the rights to the Blue Pullman after Costwold Rail/Blue Pullman Train Company went under?

This has been discussed and investigated for several years on the Blue Pullman FB page. Estimate: £10 million, if I remember correctly.......

Might get criticized here but that's a Frankenmonster with Voyager engines.
You can go too far with Frankenmonsters!

No, just curious who holds the brand. It was the only regular Pullman service (as far as I'm aware) that, in it's original form, went to South Wales so wondered who held the brand now Cotswold Rail have gone under

According to Companies House, The Pullman Car Company Ltd. was incorporated in 1915 and is now owned by the DfT. Whether that gives ownership of the Pullman branding I do not know but I think I’ve heard of heritage railways paying a licence fee for their Pullman branded dining services.

The sole director, a Civil Servant, is also director of companies called British Rail Engineering, and British Transport Hotels. All three are dormant companies.

What is now UK Railtours operated a few trips using the Blue Pullman liveried stock about 10 years ago. They were flogging off Blue Pullman golf umbrellas on one of the trips for £5 each. I bought one, but have never actually used the thing!

Funnily enough there is a somewhat younger company, incorporated in 2016, called The Blue Pullman Ltd. Wholly owned by Vintage Trains, Tyseley.

Ah that sounds about right, Cotswold went under in 2010 so that would make sense
