    I was tempted by the option of a coach ride close to the part of the Waverley route that is still closed but wasn't sure whether that would be compatible with dining on the train. I made hotel reservations in Warrington, but eventually decided that I had more than enough other things going on and cancelled the hotel.

    Great videos, thanks for posting. I was tempted by this one, but not enough daylight at this time of year to make it worthwhile.

    There are some reports that 50049 had some issues yesterday - anyone got anymore information? Hopefully nothing significant.
