    The sheer loveliness of the scenery on the Flam branch inspires an interest in Norwegian Railways generally, but there doesn't seem to be much literature - I have the 'Railway Holiday in Northern Norway and Sweden' (H A Vallance) and have just ordered a copy of the book ' Norwegian Railways from Stephenson to High-speed' by R Owen. I don't know what else is available in English.

    Perhaps to go back soon, before Brexit and the £ crashing on the foreign exchange markets!

    I finally did it last week, via an horrendously overpriced 'shore excursion' from Queen Mary 2. Enjoyed it tremendously. The coaching stock was particularly impressive!
