The second day of Britannia test runs round the Shrewsbury circuit sees the loco at speed passing Sytch Lane, Mill Meece trying to regain lost time due to an extended stop at Bushbury Junction with the 5P55/13.12 Coton Hill to Crewe leg.

Any idea of the problem with 5M55? Most other trains seemed to be close to RT at Bushbury Jn.

    Thanks, Neil

Rather have an electronic issue than something mechanical. I'd be a tad worried if it's not out on test by the end of next Friday.

Meanwhile, UKsteam.info agrees that it should be 61306 on test around the Hellifield circuit today. RTT shows something moving around Carnforth as I write. Anyone seen it yet?

Any chance then of 45212 5mt been rostered for the tour instead of a cancellation and refund. Or might it be rescheduled for another tour

Unless a miracle by the lads at Tyseley is pulled from the hat to mend the T.P.W.S. within the next weekend plus test runs and a transfer to Keighley all within just over 15 days. That would be a 'wipe your brow' moment.:(

    Mayflower LTR 1b.jpg

Despite the mist and murk, LNE B1 Class 4-6-0 No 61306 'Mayflower' makes a fine sight as it works 5M50 through Keerholme. Peter Walker driving with
Chris Holmes and trainee working the shovel and Roly Parker keeping them in order.

This is odd there's a movement for Bahamas to kvwr but how can it be unleashed on the main line if its not passed its test runs maybe diesel assisted with support coach so does this look good or bad for the tours that are scheduled to Carlisle on 9th and 16th Feb is it go or no show anyone got a opinion on this thread please just to relieve everyone of if we are going to get what we paid for.
