    45596’s test runs are now down for Thursday 31st January, with a move to Keighley on the 5th February providing all is well.

    Tyseley and the Bahamas loco society must have fixed the T.P.W.S. problem and hot box so they must have confidence in 45596 for Thursday to give her a 3rd try. It all rides on this for the maiden run on the 9th from Keighley to Carlisle. Now or never

    I think the warm not hot box is fine I believe the main problem is the TPWS, hopefully it will be OK tomorrow

    Bahamas is also advertised on the waverley run from leeds to carlisle on the main line steam tours index. Was there a plan to run 45596 past the site of Edgeley sheds on the hope valley line as well? I read in the steam railway magazine to commemorate her but I've not seen anything advertised on main line steam tours index on that route from manchester

    Engine and coach to Stratford this morning and the Leicester circuit this afternoon if the TPWS keeps working. 5690 had problems with it this week too.
