Disappointing news about tomorrow. I was looking forward to seeing 34046 on the Pullmans. The last time I saw her on the Belmond set she put on quite a show.

I can feel it in my water, I can't help thinking that when #9 comes 'to the end', and considering that Mr Cameron has had his plans rejected (twice ?) that JC and Mr Riley will come to an arrangement and Mr Riley will take the loco on. The Riley men by now know every nut and bolt on the loco, they have the means/skill/knowledge to do a good job.
I hope #9 gets a new lease of life.

A few nonchalant sheep hardly seem to notice 45231 as she dashes along the WCML north of Preston whilst on her way home from a quick trip to Scotland. I guess that with a busy daily diet of Pendolinos, Voyagers, heavy freight etc. passing by on a regular basis, a steam train is just another one of those; they clearly aren't aware that 45231 is a relatively rare 'cop' around here, these days!
