Absolutely right Victor. We are, after all, discussing units which are displacing ‘Heritage’ stock ie HSTs. When you consider all the political threads on the forum plus all the other non railway stuff I can’t see why anybody should object to a discussion about new forms of motive power. At least it’s railway related.

5 toilets on a 12 car 700, and I think 4 on an 8 car. I normally only travel on 12 car services so can't be certain about the 8 car ones. The universal access toilets (the disabled ones) are bigger than my bathroom at home!

 

Plenty of threads on this site that do anything but bring people together ( liveries, WSR and Thompson being three off the top of ny head)

 

Everyone seems to be coming together to say how much they dislike them and the 700s. A rare show of agreement on these forums.

Yebbut so do most others, if you replace the 'and' with a hyphen... It's just those deviants over at the Western Region...
