As the south facing camera at Williton is vertually redundant can it not be utilised at somewhere like Dunster or the like?

No. I understand it is streaming live to the main office for security purposes with restricted viewing there.

I believe that is only because it's not allowed for public viewing & there was no need for it before.

I think I maybe right in saying there weren't any complaints from the paseengers on the Necropolis Railway .

I don't know about that. Wasn't it H C Casserley who tried to buy a ticket for the one in South London, but was refused on the grounds he was not a bona fide mourner (but returned later in full mourning kit and was successful).;)

I always find it amusing that the corpse was issued with a single passenger ticket rather than being treated as a package!

A curious, if slightly amusing, practise but I think it's called respecting the dead.

The bus from Frome to Bath runs past the 'Bath Natural Burial Ground' at Midford

In the interest of eco friendliness I used to ask the drivers if they would take a coffin, pin my bus pass to the lid

They said it was luggage so should be fine

Hey up, looking to visit the line in October at the lines Gala - is there anyone on here who is involved with the Railway and can tell me if there's likely to still be one?

It will most likely be steam top and tailed with diesel (class 33 or Hymek) throughout.

Interesting photo. I'd forgotten that the pedestrian ramp wasn't part of the original station, but then in the 80's I would have started my journeys from the Minehead end and didn't spend much time at Lydeard.
