In lieu of any other suggestions - ARISE it is! =D>

Maybe we should start a new thread for it? Who wants to go first..... Oh alright, me then \:D/

And now for a short update on Jennifer:
She moved under her own power on Tuesday and could be seen moving around the shed area. She is now in the final stretch as the remainder of her cladding is added and the last bit's a bobs are completed before she is finished.

In other news the other Industrial restoration happening at the Llangollen of 0-4-0 saddle tank "Desmond" continues apace. Note the new cab and the rest of her looking a lot better than she did a few months ago when plants were growing out of her sandboxes. Picture below:

Ermmm.... :-k has anyone seen Matt's shovel? It went Up North with Bellerophon and didn't return!! Now I know he has a reputation for losing his shovel, but that's usually when he's on the loco! \:D/

I was on the footplate when the shovel on Bellerophon was allowed to leave the footplate by a member of crew who shall remain nameless (but no it wasn't me). However I know that it was there when I left her at Beamish... did any one check that the Steam Elephant didn't grab hold of it with her trunk?

But was that the shovel I left on her at Shildon when she arrived without one? Or was I being blind and missing one?

Oh right... I'll do some investigation then. Having said that I can't honestly remember whether or not she had one when she arrived at Marley Hill. :-k

Hmmm, well I know it was all a bit hectic getting Belle ready for the great tour so he might have been sufering from sleep deprivation! But he's fairly convinced it went and was present at Tanfield! She came back with a shovel, or a poor excuse for one anyway! But it wasn't his! I'll get him on board the thread and he can jog some memories!

Yep it was definitely on it over the gala weekend as I was using it on the Sunday morning and Alister and I actually had a conversation that we should take the shovel and oil cans off on the Sunday evening, which we forgot to do. #-o I was quite attached to that one as well as it's got a nice narrow blade

The oil can could be Beamish's - I know I was using one of theres on Belle to get to do the motion, can't remember the colour mind but I think it was called Ted!

When it was at Beamish the shovel was naff so it's obviously not the same one. Will double check at Marley Hill

The naff shovel is ours, I had to nick it off the pile of steam crane bits so that we ddin't have to do hand firing. The oil cans I know not, but Ted it weren't...we used the ones off our 08 - Mr Bellerophon was devoid when he arrived, I have checked with one of my colleagues who helped, so between Sunday night and Wednesday, a shovel went AWOL bewteen East Tanfield and here...hmmm. Sorry Matt.

Michael Davison lost his brand new Matt Pressings one off his Marshall during the weekend, but we found it before he squashed it. It was all nice and shiny...
