Fingers crossed all looks to be positive, although RTT seems to have thrown a wobbler....

146E off Preston, then only 110E at Garstang and back to 124E at Lancaster, the timings suggesting she took nearly an hour from Preston to Lancaster?

Probably half an hour sitting in the sun at Barton and Broughton but then straight through at Oubeck.

Thanks for that and yes it’s booked in for a trim lol . Normally it’s in a blimp but with my mate filming for me I thought it better to lighten his load of stuff to carry.

Whats with the "hard worked and hard working main line loco "rat look" " especially round the smoke box area. If its deliberate, I like it

That struck me too. Just five coaches weighing about the same as the engine and tender. I'm sure there was a good reason for that, but probably one that we will never hear.

35018 went out with a light load before hurling a 12(?) coach load on a later test run. Maybe another run is to be expected with a more behind the drawbar?

As there was no Diesel involved this time, I suspect this was a intermediate test run, with a final test to follow? On the other hand, without stating the obvious please(!!!), what was actually being tested? Depending on the work carried out by CRESS, would a full mechanical test actually be required?
