    We appear to have a small minority whose desire to say something , anything manages to overcome common sense at the moment that saying nothing may be better . Whilst this is a discussion forum and clearly there is plenty to discuss the flights of fantasy that gain wings and fly does at times cause facepalm moments

    Well regarded members of the Railway industry have been clear in asking that such idle speculation is avoided . It can and almost certainly does have a profound implication for businesses

    No one wishes to stop an informed discussion and long may that continue however the bonkers stuff does need to be managed . Worst case scenario is that a member could be removed . One particular individual has been removed from most facebook groups for exactly this reason. No names but you can easily guess who

I don't know about you - and speaking personally - if I had to choose between a contribution from an industry linked expert with accurate information and humouring a contributor who wants to go into a bizarre and self indulgent flight of fancy then I know who I would prefer. And if that comment offends the defenders of free, unfettered, unmoderated speech on here then by all means reduce this Forum to the level of a third rate chatroom but please be prepared to end up with something of lesser quality as a result.     Yes but the reason i joined nat pres is to put my suggestions and speculations to other members on nat pres with the information off other heritage steam railway websites cos like every other fellow enthusiast, Volunteers on heritage railways i want to share my strong interests and experiences with other rail buffs going round various heritage railways round britain and learning about how the heritage railways work history of different locomotives and most certainly wish a bright future for the english heritage railway scene in the next generations to come although we may have difficulty sourcing a coal supply which could be resolved i hope.
