    Some more good news taken from Steve Edge web site.

    "Great Western Railway has announced it is providing £60000 for services between Taunton and Bishops Lydeard - the current starting point of West Somerset Railway services to Minehead - for weekend trials. The money comes from GWR's Customer and Communities Improvement Fund (CCIF) after bids were invited last summer. More details later..."

    More good news.

    Somebody ought to consider a bus service to Porlock / Lynton and Lynmouth timed with the first and last trains of the day. That would make a seamless whole day experience for the Taunton audience.

    Is this just a temporary measure until 7752 enters service? Good news but I thought the 64xx panniers were limited to 4 coaches on the WSR. That certainly used to be the case with 6412 which as I understand it was why it was sold to the South Devon Railway.

    A book limit of 5 coaches against 7752's book limit of 7.

    Does anyone know if Foxcote Manor is coming back? The loco's website says it is but it hasn't been updated lately.
