    Guessing, asking the wind, are 09+44871 due to do owt on GB?? setting off Monday/Tuesday....well to get somewhere it might be going from....

    is it just my PC or does the number 8 sit above all the other numbers? 1234567890, oh and the 6....er 1,2&0 erm, just noticed this....

    Are the such things as 'automatic activations', because if there were then there would be a lot of paths only used on an as and when required basis that would have to be deactivated. It may be the case for daily services but not I think for irregular journeys.

    They are doing the Tuesday section, Preston to Edinburgh, hence being stabled at Carnforth where the stock will also be from Monday.

    It went a couple of weeks ago and is now at Fort William. This is an automatic activation of a redundant path and doesn't mean anything. (Learning from my mistakes here!)

    At the time of posting, 60009 + pob are facing South in a siding next to Carlisle power box. 60009 in light steam, plenty of orange jacket activity.
