WCRC 37 spotted passing Cholsey heading West under headcode 0Z31. Now sat just West of Didcot.

No water tanker at Oxford- unless they're refilling via hydrant?

    Thought someone would bite.

Currently sitting at Didcot North. This all feels like a FS termination at Didcot to me.

Nice of CrossCountry not to mention that steam was directly the cause.

Perhaps should have swopped it for Clun Castle at Tysley for the final leg into Paddington

Just like that to get an engine into steam . Find a support crew and arrange to get the engine home .

SEcondly i’d Like to earwig the conversation for VT assisting both west coast and a competing tour operator . I’m sure of course that all parties would be utterly professional .

Actually a FS failure in Hinksey Yard with injector problems amongst other issues it seems.

Diesel to Reading where tour will terminate.

This is all down to media exposure, imagine if Steaminfo had published times. Need to clamp down on the ''Where and when to see it'' posts we get on Facebook, as they get shared a lot ! Would be happy if Scotsman's times are withheld until last minute, It would keep the normal's away . I don't recall any issue with last year's GB exploits by 60103 ! A media blackout is the only way forward in regards to Scotsman running safely across the network.

Possibly the way to do it, it will still be on RTT for the real enthusiast. The problem is getting the media to agree to a blackout
