Meanwhile in Cardiff... 37s on LHCS from May as TfW have nothing else. Clearly not just Northern who have problems with the non-arrival of new trains

It says they want £25000 + vat. I'd give em £25 and I'd burn the abject heap of misery.

Might take the engines out though, I could make a shilling or two out of those.;)
Somebody would buy a pair of underslung Cummins engines.

What a sad life you must lead when all you can come up with is that type of comment.

Pacers remain an excellent passenger delivery mechanism for a low cost customer population.

Fixed that for you :) Having recently travelled from Exeter to Barnstaple on one, I can confirm they have not improved with age. Stepping out of 1st Class on an HST and switching to a Pacer was a severe shock to the system!

Indeed, just for the record please don’t modify people’s quotes, although this one was in jest we have had instances where there could be more serious implications which is why we decided a blanket ban on it was the best course of action.

She wants to go to Morecambe again :Jawdrop: I'm an old man, I can't face Leeds - Morecambe and back on one of the damn things (especially with the 5 across bus seats that still infest the service.

Where do I start?...................................Sink the lot of them in a sea far away and form a marine environment for diver to explore.
Of course, donate the Cummins engines to me........I'll find them a good home and make my beer money from the sale of the aforementioned engines.
Take some to Liverpool, the scousers will have them up on jacks and nick the wheels.........the good people of Liverpool have a natural talent for such things.
    Otherwise.............burn the lot of em.
