Is there nobody at Minehead who`s responsible for customer relations? It is 2019 not 1919.

I’ve always thought a home fleet mixed traction gala would be fantastic given the range of steam and diesel on the line.

I don't know how far work has got on the rosters, but they are now going to have to be rewritten because the owner of 97205 (31163) has withdrawn it.

Quote from owner on WNXX: Coolant jacket on A bank turbo hot side has developed a hair line crack in it that opens up when worked hard and fills its oil chamber with coolant and is gradually getting worse. However, after draining 2 pints of coolant out of it before oil came out of it today, that was the point I decided it had to come home before it damaged itself. Up to now, it only had a small amount of coolant getting in

A spork is a combination fork and spoon in one. The worst of both worlds, the tines of the fork allow liquid to leak from the spoon so it's not a good spoon, and the bowl shape restricts the tine length so its not a good fork.

The double ended ones, fork one end and spoon t’other are better. I never knew they were an aspect of financial regulation but accountancy does seem to use a lot of strange sounding technical terms for various ways of adding things up.

This shareholder has yet to hear anything from the PLC regarding the crisis so they can dream on if they expect me to put up more money. I'm eagerly awaiting my notice of this years' AGM which should arrive any day now and looking forward to hearing what they have to say for themselves.

Some WSR supporters moan about information being promulgated on NP. Well, NP does seem to be the only way some get to know what is happening regarding the line

Quite. I bought some shares back in the 80s, when the WSR was in real trouble. Only a small shareholding, but enough people like me did the same thing, and the WSR survived and thrived. Now, it seems that the WSR is in trouble again, but will I top up my shareholding? Sadly, the plc don't seem interested in disseminating any information to people like me. If they can't be bothered with me, why should I be bothered with them?

But it's a lovely line, and I hope it doesn't go under. Perhaps the board have enough contacts with big money, who can save the day.

Sad news about class 31 not attending the gala. Was looking forward to see it in the RTC colours.

    Hopefully replacement can be found.

  16. Gala Planning Team are searching for a last-minute replacement for D5581.

Meanwhile, gala timetable should appear by tomorrow, albeit with a question mark over the Brush 2 diagram.

Put a steam loco on to cover for the brush.

I’d quite like to see the class 37 and Manor double head.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that steam was only used to double head diesels in dire situations as it was undesirable for the diesel's air filters to be so close to the steam loco's emissions Perhaps someone else can confirm.
