Nah, it's the cab side that's too small. ;)

They must have expected a slow start, like the Jacobite and British Pullman it's aimed at a different group of people to the regular railtour crowd so relies on their marketing to find first time passengers - however successfully it's promoted it will take time for awareness to grow, but the potential is vast.

Week 3 of the Windsor shuttles. 61306 away from Waterloo RT with 47245 on the rear again. Sounded great departing!

First there's the green glow from the signal, then the crossing lights, then the station lights. Nothing worrisome.

The inverted 40mph speed restriction sign gives confidence in NR's maintenance vigilance!

Nah, when it's inverted it means that you mustn't go under 40 mph....:)

61306 absolutely stormed up Betchworth bank in a downpour this evening. Very impressive with the equivalent of 13 coaches.

Also planned to haul next Tuesday's trains (or at least the Sunset Steam Express), according to my e-ticket that was sent earlier.

Black 5 44871 showing its power through Selhurst, Godstone and Redhill with an additional pause at Nutfield for its Waterstop. Lovely sound from the engine at all locations!
