    Nice videos from both @D1002 and @mrKnowwun but it is clearly still hit and miss with what the diesel gets up to on these SD trips.

    Yes indeed. Those interested would do well to read my column in the next HR as I go into some detail on this issue and set out clearly what the Instructions are in the case of Vintage Trains. If SD have the same or similar Instructions then the use of the diesel is almost always down to the steam loco driver.
