Hiya Mattie, just been catching up on posts, the timelapse of the signwriting was especially good!

 

Good work - Any idea when the containers will get put on to the Flat wagons?

 

No definite dates, we've requested the Conflats to Quorn through the Ops team. We need to enact some repairs to the containers, and the Conflats will need some repair work and a repaint (thankfully they are mostly underframe, so only really black bitumen paint to spray) and then put the two together.

Good work from the team! You mentioned a deadline for Test Car 2 to be completed....what date are you aiming for? Autumn Gala?

 

To be honest, I'm loathe to divulge the deadline until we have got the Rail Blue applied to the east side. I will say its earlier than the Autumn Steam gala though.
