Not surprised, 60009 FB page just announced tomorrow's Torbay Express will be diesel hauled with 09 behind the diesel, due to fire risk

 

Surprised the Duchess with only 11 on would set fires on relatively benign banks.

 

Thanks for the positive post. I think the terminology of the moment is Doomsters and Gloomsters. I am sure that there are some who revel at the potential of a problem associated with a steam locomotive be it fire risk or any other risk.

Lets wait for facts. Shame about TBE though.

No. It's a blue route at present.

 

If this was at Langport then it was an embankment not a structure according to the fire service.

 

No revised times in RTT for the trip back yet. I guess there will be many who may miss their last trains if the arrival at Paddington is 90 to 120 later than planned.

 

Langport is on a 264 down grade. Baffled.
