But... I suspect as soon as the problem is fixed, the paths are liable to be updated back to the original format, so no guarantee of knowing up until the day itself.

 

In RTT, outward via Shap, back via S and C, as the recent runs.

It is confusing I agree. The DGL seems to be out of service for passenger trains but usable otherwise. The UGL suffered a temporary problem last Tuesday but it looks as though that is fixed.

It will be interesting to see what loco they use next Tuesday.

 

Anyone any idea what's on tomorrows York - Carlisle and return?

Well whatever is pulling the train has left the depot

 

Can hear the thunder and see a few lightning flashes on Railcam at Ribblehead viaduct, hopefully the storms pass by the time the train returns for anyone line siding!

Uh-oh, Northern Rail reporting landslide between Dent and Ribblehead, no indication as to when the line will re-open. RTT says 35018 has made it to Appleby.

 

Northbound class 158 units have just left both Kirkby Stephen and Horton-in-Ribblesdale stations . . .

 

Yes a Northern service has just terminated at KS and headed back to Carlisle. Not looking promising I guess.

 

Report from train awaiting diesel to take them on a mystery tour.But now 35018 is running around at Appleby .

 

Not the intended shot but shows 35018 brought to a stand south of Lazonby - there approx. 5 -10 minutes or so before continuing south.

 

Was wondering why the unit was at K S for so long !!

 

35018 reported as running round at Appleby to return tender first to Carlisle

 

She's just gone light engine throug K S !!! Is that the first crossover ???
