Will there be overnight running as timetable looks to stop near midnight. Apologies if that was similar to what it was before.

The through the night running is on the timetable, maybe not set out the most intuitively perhaps? I can see why they've done it the way they have though.

With less than a month to go until the gala and only 1 visitor I’m starting to think 1 of the visitors being planned is a loco fresh from overhaul/rebuild from scrap and with a slight standard theme is got me thinking??? And a certain loco seems to be coming on very fast at the moment. Just my thoughts oh and wanted to see some more activity on here as normally this is 1 of the most talked about galas

Hmm I wonder if one of those is a certain loco based just down the road from the SVR? And the other is based in Yorkshire? I have no idea what actually is coming btw I'm just speculating please don't quote me as These 2 are coming!

According to Maunsell News Summer 2019 - The MLS have had a request from the SVR for the loan of 30541 for their Autumn Gala, which is being considered.

Nice, I do hope so. A Q would look great on the goods trains on Thursday.

The original announcement said "expect a Southern theme" but that was emended last month, though I've no idea if that is still the intention.

Haha oops I see what I did there
Maybe I'll throw in 34046. She's not visted before? Plus there's a good relationship from previous J.H visitors the Brit and Scot

Well both 34046 and 35008 both fit the xx0xx tease. But so does 42073/42085/73082 all of which have a Southern connection. . .
