Not really gala-related but of the 4 current Whitby locos is there one preferred/best suited for that duty? I'm thinking perhaps Repton for the curves?

I asked today on the messenger system and was advised 'Hi, The Timetable should be online late next week.'

Don't write off 92134 just yet - a video has appeared on the NYMR MPD page of it being lit up for the first time. I'd say there is a reasonable chance of it making the gala now.

    Many thanks for posting this.

Going to be a very early start for me as driving up from Sussex to do all 3 days.

Not mentioned on here as far as I can see is the NELPG/NER gala on the Thursday (26th) which is intended to feature 29, 1264, 2238, 62005 & 65894. It will be the ordinary Bronze T/T but I understand that there are likely to be freight trains, as well. I've no other details, yet.

Nearly all the locos are facing south. 29, and 92134 I believe are facing north and 80136 as well?
