Does anyone have a gradient profile for the Central Wales line? I remember consulting one last year before 44871 & 45407 went south over it but I can't find it (online).

Just wondering, is the Central Wales route the line via Llandindrod? I assumed that was the Heart of Wales? Or am I confusing the two?

I've been looking for a gradient profile via Llandindrod too. It's sadly one which is omitted from the Ian Allan Gradient Profile book. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    They're both the same thing.

Thanks to Paul for sending me a gradient profile,

Thanks Neil. I always wondered which line I was incorrectly labelling the Central Wales line, with the Welsh Marches being the Hereford line.

Just wondering if it's not an issue Paul, could you email me the same if I pm you? Thanks

I'd class the Marches as from Shrewsbury to Newport and the Central/Heart of Wales line to be Craven Arms to Llanelli.

Hello Paul. I'm going on the Central Wales tomorrow on Pathfinders' tour. I've been trying to find a gradient profile and I understand from the above that you have kindly emailed a copy before now. Is there any possibilty you could mail me a copy this evening?
    Thank you
