Couldn't find a thread on this. Did anyone else go?

Had a lovely day on the Friday. Timetable went a bit wonky near the end but nonetheless a great day out!

Details have been being posted on the North Norfolk general thread and despite a few issues and late running on Friday and Saturday trains during the middle of the day were well loaded and as is usual the railway put on a great show with almost 50 train movements each day, excellent on train breakfasts, a selection of beer and cider and a fair amount of good weather. Hopefully someone will post video and as ever a big thank you to the hard working staff, volunteers and groups who made it all happen.

The turn on the B12 I did on Saturday evening was most enjoyable and the punters on the platform seem to enjoy themselves too.

If there is anyone reading this that came to the NNR gala and has a few moments to answer a short questionnaire, please go ahead! These answer will provide greatfeedback to shape galas to come, so they are vital to the growth and progression of the event.

    Thanks!

Survey completed. The contrast between the runs with the B12 on Saturday and the sedate progress of Black Prince on the evening diner on Thursday was very noticeable but both are highly recommended experiences. I am surprised there have been so few posts about the gala as with both visitors facing Sheringham a number of different photo opportunities were available and both tanks looked good particularly on the suburban coaches.

Completely agree that it was nice to see the visitors facing the opposite way to the norm. I hope that becomes a regular thing or they turn one of the residents at some point, obviously that will be easier to do once the Turntable they have at Holt is installed.
