    An email arrived today which doesn’t quite match up with the website as yet, but does however line up a selection of tours coming up.

    White Rose - 7th September
    Dorridge - York (via Tamworth)

    Welsh Marches - 14th September
    Dorridge - Hereford (circular)

    Chester Venturer - 12th October
    Dorridge - Chester (circular)

    Bath Christmas Market - 1st December
    Solihull - Banbury - Bath & Bristol

    York Christmas Festival - 14th December
    Dorridge - York (via Tamworth)

    York Christmas Festival - 21st December
    Dorridge - York (via Leicester)

    I’m guessing 7029 will take the majority of the programme, if not all.

    Also noted in the email, and has been noted in the Bahamas thread, VT are offering early bird discounts (if booked up to 6 weeks in advance).

    Anyone doing the Gloucester Goes Retro trip with 7029 week Saturday? Looks a nice leisurely stroll to Gloucester and back via Worcester. Not an outrageously long day either I’d imagine from Dorridge. Quite fancy it. See if I can get the pass signed...

    Railway Herald suggests that the VNTL dining train to Worcester yesterday evening was cancelled due to insufficient bookings. Not good. <BJ>

    Gorgeous evening light tonight for a sprint down the ECML returning to Dorridge, 7029 Clun Castle crosses the River Wharfe at Ozendyke. The sound of a castle on full chat was superb crossing the vale of York.
