Not 2019 but a look back on earlier seasons with Eastern Moguls working the West Highland Extension.

 

Lovely stuff - mostly 2014 I think.

A few stills of the duo from earlier years both BR in black and LNE green ( from the Centenary year in 1994 )
Unlike the K1 the K4 made only very rare appearances on service trains.

Bathroom still to finish so won't make it this year -- Enjoy to all who are up there.

The first day of the last week of operation of the 2019 and the photographers have arrived en masse, so much so that the sun took one look and said "I'm off!" after 15 minutes of the trip never to be seen again. Hopefully some light will be found at some point as the colours this year are gorgeous, but the sun forecast currently appears to be in very short supply!

Seen here under the looming shadow of Ben Nevis and soon to be changed view from Corpach beach which is due to be turned into a marina.

Tough conditions on the whole today, we had a little explore to find this well hidden location. We had plenty of passing squalls but a liitle bit of brightness when the train passed here at Arnibol viaduct near Polnish.
