Easily done! You'll enjoy the impromptu entertainment on the platform at Carlisle (we did last year)! We've gone for 'little legs' (if she is still in ticket).

Good stuff, Shap one been booked, if nothing else if we get a platform at Carlisle she will get to see the motive power as on the loop ones you don't see whats pulling you if you join at Lancaster. Plus much as I like little legs a change would be nice!

Fantastic value, both ways over Shap for 30 quid, compared to 25 for a couple of miles in the Birmingham suburbs with vintage trains....no contest! But why on earth are they advertising christmas trains in the spring? No wonder the years seem to fly by, we are always wishing time away.

Why not, they always sell out very quickly and if as a business you can get the customers money into your account early it makes perfect sense.

They are great value and they make a real effort for the kids so its a win win really!

Judging by the amount of repeat business they got last year, I'd wager these were eagerly anticipated by a lot of very happy customers. Good business sense to make them available early? Plus...I'd rather pay for it now and be sure of the seats, rather than mix it in with all the others drains on my current account on the run-up to Christmas :)

Now what's going to be hauling them?! Personally be quite happy with BIL again, however, I wonder if Lizzie could make an appearance?
